Devotional Guidelines

Please consider the following guidelines as you prepare to facilitate a 5-10 minute reflection upon and discussion over God's Word:

1. Pray that God would lead you and speak to you directly from His Word.
2. Meditate upon some of the principles and passages found in the Purpose, Vision, and Core Values section of the CBN website, or from the Scriptures directly.
3. Remember your Audience - Christian business people who are striving for Biblical success, just like you.
4. Draw Out what is most meaningful and relevant to your audience.
5. Write Down the most salient principles or truths the Author is trying to convey.
6. Print Out a sufficient number of copies of the Bible/Devotional passage to be read and discussed.
7. Share Openly what you have learned from your own study and meditation of the passage.
8. Challenge Others to engage in a discussion over the principles and truths presented via a question or two.
